SOLIZE to start sales, introduction support, and benchmarking for customer fit of Roboze’s 3D printer “ARGO 500 HYPERSPEED,” capable of processing super polymers

SOLIZE Corporation (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Yasutoshi Kudo) is pleased to announce that it will begin selling and supporting the introduction of the 3D printer ARGO 500 HYPERSPEED as the sole distributor of Roboze S.p.A. (Head office: Bari, Italy; CEO: Alessio Lorusso) in Japan. The “ARGO 500 HYPERSPEED” will also be installed in our Toyota Plant. Applications for verification and manufacturing support, as well as benchmarking to determine product relevance for customers’ business will be accepted starting in March 2025.

The “ARGO 500 HYPERSPEED” is a cutting-edge 3D printer that uses the fused deposition modeling technique and can process high-strength materials called super polymers. This printer can model super polymers in a chamber maintained at a high temperature, and produce products with high mechanical properties and accurate dimensional tolerances. The weakness of the fused deposition modeling technique, fusing direction fragility, has been drastically reduced.. Roboze’s proprietary HYPERSPEED technology enables simultaneous rapid and high-precision modeling and offers process controls required of end product manufacturing. This can help companies 3D print high performance products to replace metals and CFRP components increasing productivity and reducing costs. It can handle super polymers and composites such as PEEK, Carbon PEEK, and PEKK, and can produce large models up to 500 mm.

Our lineup also includes “Plus PRO,” best suited for small batch production, and a large printer “ARGO 1000 HYPERMELT”, capable of producing large products of 1 cubic meter object in size, in addition to the “ARGO 500 HYPERSPEED.” Model recommendations can be made based on customer products’ needs.
